On Sunday 17th October, Julian will be performing at the Oxford Lieder festival, alongside pianist Tim Horton, and violinist Alexander Sitkovetsky.
The trio will perform Béla Bártok’s Contrasts in the Jaqueline du Pré Music Building at St Hilda's College. The work was written in 1938 and commissioned by legendary jazz clarinettist Benny Goodman. The programme will also include works by Leonard Bernstein and Antonín Dvořák.
