Review: Bliss and the RLPO

Julian is celebrating a successful concert with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra on 19th May where he performed Copland's Clarinet Concerto under the baton of Domingo Hindoyan.

Writing for Bachtrack, Peter Connors posted a glowing review of the concert and Julian's performance:

"Bliss and the orchestra melded seamlessly. Out of this grew the cadenza in which Bliss took the spotlight and demonstrated his virtuosity ... His playing was expressive and thoughtful throughout and he evidently had a great rapport with the orchestra and conductor."

Posting on social media after the concert, Julian said:

"The first time I worked with the orchestra was over 17 years ago and it’s always a pleasure to return and perform with such an amazing and friendly group of people."
